"Music is something that has always been in my blood. From a young age, I knew I wanted to play guitar and that's all I wanted to do. It's funny because out and about in the day, I hate being the center of attention, but when I step on stage its totally different. I love the feeling of taking someones bad day and turning it great just by singing the right song at the right time at a show. Being able to change someones day by one of my songs will always be the best feeling to me," says Garrett
Garrett has been hard at work for his fan writing and recording new music! He is always working on the next song and project for his fans to enjoy.
"Shows and recording are two different animals. In the studio, it's so cool to sit down with everyone at Last Day and take one of the songs that we have wrote and bring it to life. You never know what will come of a song, and in a way, your always a little nervous when starting to record a brand new song. You always have high hopes. The thing with this team, is we don't settle. We always look to take the writing, recording, and live performances up to new heights. I absolutely love the studio, but the best part of this is hands down playing the live shows and meeting the fans. I like to call them "Heartlanders"..gives it more of a family vibe. The Heartlanders are the ones that support us and I know that. They buy the music, share the music, and hands down just support it. You can't beat meeting a Heartlander and hear their story of how one of my songs has helped them through a time in their life. That my friends, is what it's all about."
